Between Abbie and all the horror stories I’ve heard down through the years of lost USB drives, laptops being stolen and paper notebooks catching fire in the week before the big exam, I am paranoid. I’m treating my own semester notes with a High Priority Factor Mouth Frothing Fucking Paranoia (HPFMFFP). HPFMFFP dictates that nothing stays on a USB key drive for more than 24 hours; it insists that I transcribe all of my class notes to Evernote; and it demands that I do not store any of my files outside of Dropbox. I seriously expect my laptop to explode, and in exploding set fire to my notebook, and in setting fire to my notebook, melt my pen drives. /paranoid (0)
