Getting up at 7am is evidently it’s own reward
I overslept and missed pre-dawn, but I got to the beach right at sunrise and was rewarded with this magnificent photo:
(More) Swans
As I said on the Flickr post, the sky was a pain in the ass to fix: Draw an invisible line between the top of the sun and the right-hand horizon and you have an idea of how much I had to clone/paint in. It was worth it. Lady Sun was just rising and I saw the swans gliding in to my left. Between the filters and my camera settings I had everything set right except I was at a screwy angle.
Fie!
It was worth it.
