Know your robots: Bender
What does Bender do? Break rules. I had Bender fully drawn from the front for this picture, and while technically correct, it looked stupid; Bender is almost always shown in Futurama in profile or perspective. It looks better, and it’s a hell of a lot easier to draw. The arms stuck straight out because Photoshop is really terrible at handling curves. You can nest circle shapes or go freehand…nope. Hence, I cut him down to his head, which took ten minutes to make. I had to scale it all the way up to fit the text in neatly. And it works. I broke my own rules for the poster, and it works.
