Ubuntu versus Gentoo

posted in technology with 0 comments

Gentoo, while an excellent learning tool, is really intended for the kind of user who want to custom-craft a mercury-weighted and laser-guided titanium hammer that strikes with deadly accuracy while travelling at half the speed of sound.

Ubuntu is more general. While less focused, certainly less fine and less sturdy, it is nevertheless a reliable and ultimately replaceable hammer for you to use in building your house.

Flame me.
