I love churches

I’m not a paticularly religious person, but I love churches for all of that. I’m really not going to go analyzing just why I love churches so, not here. Just take it as a given that I find everything from the basillica of Knock through to some of the presbyterian chapels of Las Vegas, that are literally someone’s living room, to be absolutely fascinating. I dropped in to St. Mary’s in Claddagh this and took a few photos that I composed into a HDR when I get home:

So I went to (a) church today

St. Nicholas’ church down off Shop Street, where I put my 18-55, 28 and 50mm lenses all to good use - out of these three photos, one was taken with each lens. The 50mm is great for detail work, the 28mm for capturing a room in detail and the 18-55mm when I’m feeling lazy:
