One geek still howling at the moon
This is a new release of the site’s theme, Dark Days. In no particular order, the changes are:
Fixed typos in code.
Added a rotating banner on top.
Made display changes outside of header. Posts should be more centered now.
Oh, lots of changes, for sure.
Another masterpiece from me:
It’s part of my overall story, but set in another time and place, earlier in this century and in what (will soon) be the Federated States of America. Dark Days is a bitter piece, set in a hard time, and even to me it feels like a sermon from on high. But a story needs to be told, no matter how awkward it may be.

The first one I want as while my 18-55mm isn’t as sharp or powerful as I want, the 90-300mm I picked up is horrible overkill. And the second is just awesome for what I want. Landscapes or macros, this can handle them both competently. And they both come with lens hoods in the box!
I’m going with Sigma as I just wasn’t happy with the Canon lenses I’ve tried.
